In order to provide a means for provisional sealing of pneumatic vehicle tires which has an improved sealing effect and at the same time has an improved cold storage capacity and usability in comparison with conventional means, it is proposed that the means have the following components, based on 100 parts of the total weight: a) 30 to 70 parts by weight of natural rubber latex, wherein the natural rubber latex is present as a 50 to 75 percent by weight emulsion (ie the solids content of the natural rubber latex is 50 to 75 percent by weight), b) 5 to 50 parts by weight of at least one resin, this being selected from at least one alkyne-phenol resin or at least one rosin ester or mixtures thereof, the resin being a 45 to 60 weight percent emulsion, c) 10 to 50 parts by weight of at least two different liquid diols, d) 1 to 5 parts by weight of anti-aging agent, wherein the anti-aging agent is present as a 30 to 50 weight percent emulsion and e) optionally other customary additives.
