abstract Black plate-shaped ferrite composite particles withnmagnetoplumbite structure having an average particle size ofn0.01 to 0.2 µm of the present invention, comprise:n plate-shaped ferrite particles with magnetoplumbitenstructure; a coating formed on surface of the plate-shapednferrite particles with magnetoplumbite structure, comprisingnat least one of the organosilicon compounds.n (1) organosilane compounds obtained by drying or heat-treatingnan alkoxysilane compounds, (2) polysiloxanes or modified polysiloxanes; or (3) fluoroalkyl organosilane compounds obtained byndrying or heat-treating a fluoroalkylsilane compounds;nand carbon black fine particles adhered to the coating,nhaving a particle size of 0.002 to 0.05 µm, the amount ofnthe carbon black fine particles adhered being 0.5 to 10nparts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of thenplate-shaped ferrite particles with magnetoplumbitenstructure. n Such black plate-shaped ferrite composite particlesnwith magnetoplumbite structure are excellent inndispersibility in a vehicle due to fewer carbon black finenparticles having fallen off from the surface of each blacknmagnetic composite particle, and have a high blackness and anlow volume resistivity.
