titleOfInvention Organic lasers
abstract The present invention includes a laser comprising a first mirror layer (110) and a layer of first active organic material (112) over the first mirror layer (110). The first active organic material lases when pumped to thereby produce laser light. The first mirror layer (110) reflects at least a portion of the light produced by the first active organic material. The invention includes both optically and electrically pumped embodiments.
