abstract | The invention relates to a device (1) for treating malignant, tumorous areas of tissue. Said device comprises at least one measuring sensor for determining chemical or physical signal patterns in the area immediately surrounding the tumour cells or similar tissue parts, a control device and at least one treatment device having a device for releasing active ingredients for chemically influencing and/or electrodes for physically influencing the tumorous tissue area to be treated. The sensor(s), the device for releasing active ingredients and the treatment electrodes are connected to the control device so that the physical and/or chemical treatment of the tumorous tissue area can be controlled in accordance with the measurements obtained from the tumour cells. The device is embodied as a capsule or coated pill designed to be swallowed. The invention also provides for a sensor for detecting trigger parameters. The control device is fitted with a threshold-value switch for activating the device releasing the active ingredients and/or the electrodes when a set point, which is or can be predetermined, is exceeded. |
