abstract A method for determining a physical, chemical or biological correspondence between a group A of specimens and a group B ofnspecimens when such a correspondence exists, which comprises bringing a mixture prepared by mixing the specimens of group A with eachnother according to a given law into contact with the group B of specimens and detecting the interaction therebetween. The preparation ofnthe mixture of the group A of specimens according to the law based on the binary notation serves to remarkably reduce the frequency of thenreactions required for detecting the interaction and permits rapid screening.
