titleOfInvention | Prestressed concrete structure, reinforcing member used for prestressed concrete moldings, and sheet material for reinforcing members |
abstract | A prestressed concrete structure comprising a longnconcrete molded article having a pair of side surfacesnopposed to each other, a plurality of tensile membersnpenetrating and stretching inside said concrete moldednarticle from one of said pair of side surfaces toward thenother side surface in a transverse direction, secured atntheir both ends to the side surfaces of said concretenmolded article in a tensioned state and imparting ancompressive load to said concrete molded article, sidenguards arranged along both side surfaces of said concretenmolded article so as to cover the ends of said tensilenmembers, and reinforcing members arranged on the sidensurfaces of said side guards in order to prevent thenbroken tensile members from protruding beyond the sidensurfaces thereof breaking through said side guards whennsaid tensile members in the tensioned state are broken.nThe reinforcing members stretch little in thenlongitudinal direction but easily stretch in thentransverse direction on the side surfaces of said sidenguards, and when pushed from the inside by the ends ofnthe tensile members that protrude as a result ofnbreakage, the peeling of said reinforcing members spreadsnout in the longitudinal direction of the concrete moldednarticle on the side surfaces of the side guards butnspreads out little in the transverse direction. |
