abstract |
Transgenic mice constructed by binding the "hHB-EGF/DTR" gene to the downstream of an albumin enhancer/promoter expressednspecifically in hepatic parenchymal cells and then transferring the same into mice. After confirming that the "hHB-EGF/DTR" gene has beennexpressed specifically in hepatic cells, diphtheria toxin is administered to the transgenic mice to examine whether the disruption of thenhepatic parenchymal cells proceeds or not. Thus, the hepatic cells of the transgenic mice can be successfully disrupted selectively dependingnon the administration period of the diphtheria toxin. |
