abstract | An infrared absorber which comprises containing as anneffective ingredient a hydroxide complex salt representednby the formulan [Aℓ 2 (Li (1-x) ·M 2+ (x+y) (OH) (6+2y) ] n (A n- ) (1+x) ·mH 2 O n(wherein M 2+ is a divalent metal, A n- is an anion having anvalence of n, and m, x and y are numbers respectively in thenranges of 0 ≦ m < 5, 0.01 ≦ x ≦ 0.5 and 0 ≦ y ≦ 0.5), whichnhas a high ability to absorp infrared rays and a refractivenindex close to that of the resin so that it has a goodndispersibility with the resins when incorporated in thenresin and the shaped film therefrom is excellent in the heatninsulation property and transparency so that it is suitablenas an agricultural film. |
