This invention relates to a tubular, biaxiallynoriented, mono- or multilayer film for foodstuffs, innparticular pasty foods e.g., sausages, consisting of atnleast one layer composed of a mixture of copolyamides,nsaid film showing very good flexibility properties and ancertain degree of surface roughness that improves thenholding of the casing by hand during a manual stuffingnprocess. n The tubular film is composed of at least one layernincluding a first component being a mixture of at leastntwo copolyamides and a second component being a substancenthat imparts roughness to the surface of the casing. Inna preferred embodiment these copolyamides are PA 6/12 andnPA 6/69. The second component can be an inorganic or annorganic substance, provided that said organic substancenresists the temperatures of the manufacturing process. Asnsecond component silicon dioxide is preferred. |
