The invention relates to the targeted delivery of substancesnto cells. The invention provides a method for selecting atnleast one mutant protein derived from a viral protein as anligand capable of binding to a cell-surface receptor,ncomprising displaying at least one mutant of said protein onnthe surface of a micro-organism expressing said protein,nfurther comprising selecting at least one such a mutantnmicro-organism for its capacity to bind to said receptornfurther comprising incorporating said protein in a virus-likenparticle or gene-delivery vehicle allowing targeting of saidnvirus-like particle or gene-delivery vehicle to cellsncarrying said receptor. |
