abstract |
There is provided a method for identifying pre-malignancy and malignancy states of a cell by detecting extrachromosomal gene amplification. Also provided is a marker for the identification of pre-malignancy and malignancy states of a cell comprising extrachromosomal gene amplification. A method of therapeutic intervention for cells having extrachromosomal gene amplification by therapeutically targeting the genes which have extrachromosomal amplification is provided. |
