titleOfInvention | Hair-care treatment composition |
abstract | The invention provides a novel hair-care treatment compositionnsuch as shampoos and hair rinse compositions capable of impartingnexcellent smoothness in combing and pliableness and dampishness inntouch feeling to the hair treated with the composition. The hair-carentreatment composition is formulated, besides various base ingredientsnacceptable as the constituents of the respective hair-care treatmentncompositions, with a limited amount of a unique amino-modified diorganopolysiloxanenhaving an amine equivalent in the range from 2000 ton100000 g/mole and represented by the general formulan A-SiR 2 -O-(-SiR 2 -O-) p -(-SiRG-O-) q -SiR 2 -A, nin which the subscript p is a number of 10 to 20000, the subscript q isnzero or a positive number not exceeding 100, R is a monovalent hydrocarbonngroup having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, e.g., methyl, G is an amino-substitutednmonovalent hydrocarbon group represented by the generalnformulan -R 1 -(-NH-CH 2 CH 2 -) n -NH 2 , nR 1 being a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms andnthe subscript n being 2 or 3, and A is R, OR, G or a hydroxyl group withnthe proviso that, when the subscript q is zero, at least one of the groupsnA in a molecule is G. |
