Black non-magnetic composite particles for a Blackntoner of the present invention comprising:n (a) hematite and/or iron oxide hydroxide particlesnhaving an average particle diameter of from 0.055 to 0.95nµm; (b) a coating on the surface of said hematitenand/or iron oxide hydroxide particles, comprising atnleast one organosilicon compound selected from:n (1) organosilane compounds obtainable by drying ornheat-treating alkoxysilane compounds, (2) polysiloxanes or modified polysiloxanes, and (3) fluoroalkyl organosilane compounds obtainablenby drying or heat-treating fluoroalkylsilanencompounds; and (c) carbon black fine particles adhered on saidncoating, which have a particle diameter of from 0.002 ton0.05 µm and which are present in an amount of from 1 ton25 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of saidnhematite and/or iron oxide hydroxide particles. |
