Apparatus and method are disclosed for measuringnthe unburnt carbon content of fly ash by generating anmicrowave signal and launching it through a fly ashnsample to collect the received signal transmittednthrough the fly ash and process it to determinenchanges in the resonant frequency and transmitted ornreflected power at the resonant frequency of thenresonant cavity induced by the sample and thus providena measure of unburnt carbon content. |
