Process for producing a plasma protein-containing medicament |
abstract |
This invention describes a process for producing a plasma protein-containing medicament essentially free of undesired metals out of citrate plasma or a citrate-containing plasma fraction. This process consists of the following steps: replacement of the citrate and, optionally, the citrate-bound metals in a plasma protein-containing solution by a water soluble mono- or dicarboxylate or an organic mono- or dicarboxylic acid under non-precipitating conditions, production of the plasma protein or the plasma proteins, and production of the medicament. |
