titleOfInvention | Method of manufacturing glass plate with light-transmissive colored film |
abstract | There is provided a method of manufacturing a glassnplate with a light-transmissive colored film using a coatingnsolution including a metal salt and a metal alkoxide, n the light-transmissive colored film having a coloringneffect due to a metal oxide which will not be impairedneven if the amount of the added metal alkoxide is increased, nand being highly resistant to wear and chemicals. n A method of manufacturing a glass plate with anlight-transmissive colored film comprises the steps of hydrolyzingnand polymerizing a metal alkoxide to form a hydrolyzednpolymeric product, aging the hydrolyzed polymericnproduct to achieve a weight-average molecular weight nonless than 3000 based on polystyrene, preparing a coatingnsolution including the hydrolyzed polymeric product, a metalnsalt as a coloring component, and a solvent, coating thencoating solution on a surface of a glass plate, preliminarilynfiring the glass plate to convert the hydrolyzed polymericnproduct into a porous gel, and firing the glass platento vitrify the porous gel and thermally decompose the metalnsalt into an oxide. |
