abstract | Process for determining and setting the optimal bicycle frame geometry and saddle setting for the athlete by determining the knee joint angle or the knee joint position in two defined pedal positions, and device for carrying out the process. The device (20) comprises a saddle adapter (24) for attachment to the bicycle saddle (7) or to the seat post (8), a pedal adapter (P) for attachment to the bicycle pedal (6), as well as a thigh adjustment device (26) and a lower leg adjustment device (27 ), a foot model (28), a hip joint (21), a knee joint (22) and an ankle joint (23).
