titleOfInvention POLYCARBONATE RESIN COMPOSITIONS
abstract A resin composition comprising (A) 5 to 95 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin comprising a plurality of aromatic polycarbonate main chains and containing specific different kinds of linkage units in the main chains in specific amounts and (B) 5 to 95 parts by weight of a rubber-reinforced thermoplastic resin containing a graft copolymer prepared by grafting a rubbery polymer with a vinyl compound. This composition is excellent in impact resistance and moldability. When the component (B) is a graft copolymer prepared by emulsion graft polymerisation in the presence of a radical-polymerizable emulsifying agent having a double bond in the molecule, the resulting composition has another advantage that the residence thereof at high temperature little causes lowering in the impact strength or discoloration, in addition to the above performances. Further, when the composition further contains (C) a flame retardant and an anti-dropping agent as optional components, the resulting composition exhibits far more excellent anti-dropping properties in burning than those of polycarbonate compositions according to the prior art, in addition to the above performances. The compositions of the present invention are advantageously usable in various fields including automobile parts and electrical and electronic components.
