abstract There is provided a novel wound dressing material which hasnbiocompatibility and infection controllability as essential properties requirednto such a material, especially excellent flexibility and water absorptionnproperties, thereby accelerating smooth regeneration of skin defect withoutnstripping off the regenerating skin while putting off the material from thenskin. A healing agent is added to the wound dressing material whichncomprises an amorphous film of crystallinity below 10 % and contains fibroinnand sericin as a main component.
