titleOfInvention | Method for the production of a granulate for hemodialysis |
abstract | The invention relates to a method for the manufacture of an electrolyte and acetic acid granulate for making a hemodialysis solution, the granulate comprising the electrolytes potassium chloride, calcium chloride and magnesium chloride, and the method comprising preparing the granulate and adding a desired quantity of acetic acid. The granulate, which is easy to process and has free flow capability, is made by crushing the electrolyte salts to a grain size of less than 0.5 mm and subsequently granulating the electrolyte salts in a dry gas atmosphere to a granulate having a grain size of 1 to 10 mm and a pore volume of more than 25 percent by volume. Subsequently, the acetic acid is added to the granulate, preferably by spraying. |
