abstract |
A process is disclosed for preparing a siliconenlatex. Said process comprises first forming a premixncomprising polydiorganosiloxane and crosslinker beforenemulsification. A silicone latex is then formed at antemperature no higher than 60°C. by mixing surfactant andnwater with said premix. The resulting silicone latex may bendiluted with additional water, if desired. A process fornthe continuous preparation of a silicone latex is alsondescribed. |
