abstract The invention concerns a method for the affinity-chromatographic purification of factor VIII, characterised in that a biological liquid containing factor VIII is brought into contact with the immobilised cellular von-Willebrand factor or a derivative thereof under such conditions that the factor VIII is adsorbed on the immobilised von-Willebrand factor or the derivative thereof, impurities are separated and the adsorbed factor VIII is eluted.
