| abstract | The present invention relates to a road semi-trailer with international European road gauges, with a low floor for transporting cars and / or freight, which can be loaded on low, rigid or articulated "pocket" wagons, semi-trailers loaded with their cars or freight, and the wagons having geometrical characteristics making that their nested assembly respects the European international railway gauge, the said semi-trailers being equipped with pallets of handling and storage of the cars, these pallets being with variable geometry in length, thanks to devices for translating their carrying beams of cars with respect to their side members on which they are mounted with ball joints, these pallets being positionable in height, by means of handling devices coordinated with each other or not, these various devices being intended to have cars in opti built-in situations mum between them and in particular on three levels, to give the semi-trailer and the whole semi-trailer / wagon high capacities of transport of cars, or, alternatively, to clear the loading floor to allow the transport of freight back, these characteristics determining high overall profitability. |
