titleOfInvention | Method for surface coloring plastic objects after manufacture |
abstract | A method for surface coloring plastic objects afternmanufacture. The method consists of a first step fornimpregnating a printed paper substrate, whereon pigments ofnthe family per se known as "disperse inks" and/orn"sublimatic inks" are deposited within the printing inks, nwith an aqueous solution of a solvent which activates thenprint and is capable of activating the surface of thenplastic to be treated. Another step consists in coveringnthe parts of the object to be treated with the papernsubstrate and in then removing the substrate and drying thenparts. The final step consists of introduction into annatmosphere of vapors of a product which is a solvent fornthe pigments, for a time sufficient to fix the pigments tonthe surface. |
