abstract |
A water dispersible and/or water soluble polyurethane (I) is useful as an additive for hydraulic binding agents for the production of mortars or concrete whereby (I) has (A) an average isocyanate functionality of less than 1.8, an aliphatic and/or cycloaliphatic bound isocyanate group content (calculated as NCO; mol. wt. 42) of 0-10 wt.%. (B) a urethane group content (calculated as NHCOO; mol. wt.. 59) of 2.0 - 25 wt.% and (C) a content of polyether chain bonded ethylene oxide units (calculated as C2H2O; mol. wt. 44) of 30-90 wt.% whereby (D) the polyether chains contain 5-50 ethylene oxide units on average. |
