titleOfInvention Glue-based method for bonding synthetic pyrolysable materials used in lost pattern casting
abstract The invention relates to a method of joining by gluing pieces made ofnpyrolyzable synthetic material, to form an imprint servingnof model lost during casting of type-to-model metalsnlost.n n n An aqueous emulsion glue is sprayed on the parts to be glued. Wenspray a polyurethane glue in an aqueous emulsion, thennthe glue is dried by evaporating the water by heating. Matternsynthetic pyrolysable is expanded polystyrene and the glue includesn100 parts by weight of an aqueous polyurethane emulsion, noptionally up to 50% by weight of an aqueous emulsion of anethylene / vinyl acetate or vinyl polymer copolymer, nacrylic or vinyl acrylic. The glue is dried at a temperature includednbetween about 50 ° C to about 80 ° C, for a period of about 8nminutes to about 3 minutes.n n n Application to the manufacture of molded metal parts.
