The invention relates to a novel competitive or non-competitive immunoassay comprising the steps of: immobilizing an assay specific component on a solid phase in a reaction well; adding a labelled assay specific component; drying said components; adding the sample containing the marker to be analyzed; allowing the marker to react with the assay specific components; and detecting the signal from the label. Furthermore, the invention relates to a device useful in carrying out the novel assay. |
