titleOfInvention | Detection of mycotoxins by flow-through membrane-based enzyme immunoassay |
abstract | The detection of mycotoxins is effected by flowing through a microporous membranencoated with immunoreagents and placed on a absorbent material. All reagents arendropped onto the membrane. Due to the contact between the membrane and thenabsorbent material, added reactants are drawn through the membrane into thenabsorbent material. The membrane is coated with anti-mouse antibodies. Thenfollowing reactants are successively dropped onto the membrane wash solution, nmonoclonal anti-mycotoxin antibodies, wash solution, sample, enzyme labellednmycotoxin and wash solution. Finally, substrate solution is added to cause a colourndevelopment. This test is used for the detection of mycotoxins in food and feed. |
