abstract |
A polyimide film of birefringence less than 0.01 is formed by drawing ancopolymerized polyimide comprising a block component and a random componentnwhich are molecularly bonded, wherein the block component of the polyimidencomprises a first aromatic diamine compound and an aromatic tetracarboxylic acidncompound, and wherein the random component of the polyimide comprises a secondnaromatic diamine compound and at least two aromatic tetracarboxylic acidncompounds. The resulting polyimide film has high elasticity, a low thermalnexpansion equivalent to that of metal and low water absorbing properties. A methodnfor its manufacture and a metal laminated plate having improved curl properties, innwhich the polyimide is used as the base material, are also disclosed. |
