A magenta toner for developing annelectrostatic image is formed of magenta tonernparticles containing at least a binder resin and anmagenta pigment. The magenta pigment is a solidnsolution pigment comprising C.I. Pigment Red 122, C.I.nPigment Red 202 and C.I. Pigment Violet 19. Thenmagenta toner particles are preferably formed throughnsuspension polymerization of a polymerizable monomernmixture including a polymerizable monomer and thensolid solution pigment in an aqueous medium. |
