abstract |
A halogen-free flame-retardant polyester resin composition which exhibits excellent flame retardance in spite of the use of a reduced amount of a flame retardant, can give a molded article not causing dropping in burning, is excellent in mechanical strengths and kneading properties, and is freed from annealing bleed-out. This composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a polyester such as polytetramethylene terephthalate, 1 to 15 parts by weight of a coated red phosphorus powder, and 3 to 70 parts by weight of a phenolic novolak. |
