abstract The purposes of the present invention are to provide highly impact-resistantnthermoplastic polyester resin inexpensively and promote the recycling of PETnbottles, which are dumped as waste. To attain the purposes, a carboxyl-modifiednmetallocene catalyzed polyolefin elastomer or a glycidyl methacrylate adduct tonthe elastomer is melt-blended with a thermoplastic polyester resin, particularly,nthe powder of recycled PET bottles. Additionally a filler can be mixed ifnnecessary.
