abstract | A (fluoroaryl)borane compound expressed by GeneralnFormula (1):n nwhere each of R 1 -R 5 represents a hydrogen atom, a fluorinenatom, a hydrocarbon group, or an alkoxy group, providednthat at least one of R 1 -R 5 represents a fluorine atom, Xnrepresents a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, a brominenatom, or an iodine atom, and n represents 2 or 3, isnstabilized by letting inorganic metal salts having anfluorine atom coexist with the (fluoroaryl)boranencompound in a hydrocarbon solution. After thenhydrocarbon solution is concentrated in the presence ofnthe inorganic metal salts, the inorganic metal salts arenremoved and the fluoroaryl)borance compound isncrystallized. Consequently, it has become possible tonprovide a method of stabilizing a (fluoroaryl)boranencompound by suppressing the decomposition reaction whilenthe solution is heated and concentrated, storedn(preserved), or transported/transferred, and ancrystallizing method of isolating highly-pure crystalsn(powders) of the (fluoroaryl)borane compound efficiently. |
