abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for preparingn2-hydroxynaphthalene-3,6-dicarboxylic acid which comprisesnreacting potassium 2-naphtholate and carbon dioxide at antemperature 290°C or higher under a pressure 30kg/cm 2 (G) ornhigher. According to this process, 2-hydroxynaphthalene-3,6-dicarboxylicnacid can be obtained in high yield. |
