A tracheal smooth muscle relaxant characterized by comprising as the active ingredient a compound represented by general formula (1) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof; wherein when X and Y are bonded through a single bond, then X and Y each independently represents any member selected from the group consisting of CH2, CHW1 (where W1 represents halogeno, hydroxy, or lower alkoxy), and C=O, while when X and Y are bonded through a double bond, then X and Y each independently represents any member selected from the group consisting of CH and COW2 (where W2 represents lower alkyl or lower alkylcarbony); Z represents O, S, S=O, or SO¿2?; and R?1 to R8¿ each represents member selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, VR9 (where V represents O, S, S=O, or SO¿2?, and R?9¿ represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower hydroxyalkyl, lower acyl, trihalomethyl, or lower carboxyalkyl), lower carboxyalkyl, lower hydroxyalkyl, lower hydroxyalkenyl, lower hydroxyalkynyl, halogeno, lower alkyl, lower alkyl ketone, trihalomethyl, trimethylsilylethynyl, nitro, amino, lower N-carbonylalkyl, lower alkylphenyl, and phenyl. |
