| abstract | A liquid discharge head is provided which allowsnproduction of a recorded image of improved quality byncontrolling the speed of flow of a liquid and thendistribution of the speed of flow in a flow path causednin consequence of contraction of bubbles therebynstabilizing the direction of satellites arising behindnmain drops of discharged liquid and, at the same time,ndecreasing the amount itself of the satellites. Thisnliquid discharge head comprises a movable separationnmembrane capable of effecting separation between anfirst flow path (3) communicating with a discharge port (11) forndischarging a liquid and a second flow path (4) furnishednwith a bubble generating region for generating bubblesnin the liquid by means of a heating element (2) and anmovable member (26) opposed to the bubble generating regionnacross the movable separation membrane (5) and furnished innthe direction of liquid discharge with a free end tonguide the displacement of the movable separationnmembrane induced by the growth of the bubbles in thendirection of the discharge port and regulate the shapenof displacement of the movable separation membrane asnwell. |
