Lapping tape |
abstract |
Described is a lapping tape (1) having, on a flexiblensubstrate (2), a lapping layer (3) formed by coating a paintnfor the formation of a lapping layer which containsninorganic powders, a binder and solvents, and then drying.nIn the lapping tape according to the present invention, thensolvents in the paint contain an organic solvent having anboiling point of 120°C or higher in an amount of 20 to 60nwt.% based on the total amount of organic solvents; thenlapping layer has a thickness of 3 to 25 µm; and thenremaining amount of the solvents in the lapping layer is 500ng/m 3 . The present invention therefore brings aboutnexcellent advantages that the lapping scratches on thensurface to the lapped can be prevented to the utmost;npeeling of the lapping layer from the lapping tape can bensuppressed; and the lapping tape has excellent lappingnability. |
