The method for regulating the input quantity of a treatment medium (8a) to reduce the nitrogen oxide content in the exhaust gases from combustion processes calculates an average nitrogen oxide content (16b) and a first manipulated variable (14b) for the input quantity as well as the treatment medium slip depending on the nitrogen oxide content (11b) (9b) a second manipulated variable (13b) for the input quantity, depending on the average nitrogen oxide content (16b) either only the first manipulated variable (14b) or the second manipulated variable (13b) being used as the manipulated variable (12b) for the input quantity. |
