abstract |
A method of treating a composite waste materialnincluding plastic and metal to recover metal effectivelynfrom the composite waste material. The method comprises anstep of separating and recovering metal after thermallyntreating the composite waste material under a highntemperature atmosphere by wholly or partly disassemblingnthe composite waste material and directly bringing thencomposite waste material into contact with a highntemperature gas containing little or no oxygen. Thenmetals are separated and recovered by disassembling andnselecting the thermally treated composite waste materialnwith using a vibrating sieve machine, or by pressingncutting and pulverizing the thermally treated metal at anwarm temperature. |
