abstract | A thermoplastic molding composition which contains (i) a graftedncopolymer rubber having a grafted phase of styrene-acrylonitrile phasenand a crosslinked (meth)acrylate-acrylonitrile substrate, and (ii) annungrafted, uncrosslinked SAN having a number average molecular weightnof about 20,000 to 100,000 is disclosed. The composition which is furtherncharacterized in that it contains no additional grafted copolymer rubbernbased on crosslinked (meth)acrylate-acrylonitrile substrate and in that thengrafted copolymer rubber is present in particulate form where thenparticles have a monomodal size distribution and a weight averagenparticle size of 0.05 to 0.5 microns exhibits improved mechanicalnproperties. |
