abstract | A hydraulic elastomer composition obtained through a dynamic heat treatment of a mixture comprising: (a) an ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber; (b) a silicon cross-linking agent having at least two SiH groups in its molecule; (c) a hydrosilylation catalyst; and (d) a thermoplastic resin having hydrolyzable silane groups; and another elastomer composition obtained by molding the above-mentioned elastomer composition, bringing it into contact with water preferably in the presence of a silanol catalyst and cross-linking the thermoplastic resin having hydrolyzable silane groups. These elastomer compositions are excellent in high-temperature rubber elasticity, low-temperature impact resistance and oil resistance and have good moldability. |
