Synthetic paper and inkjet recording paper with the use of the same |
abstract |
A synthetic paper made of a stretched resin film;nsaid stretched resin film being obtained by stretching anresin film having as a support a resin composition whichncontains: (A) from 30 to 80 % by weight of a crystallinenpolyolefin resin; and (B) from 70 to 20 % by weight of milledncalcium carbonate particles at a temperature lower than thenmelting point of said crystalline polyolefin resin employednas the component (A); and an inkjet recording paper made bynusing this synthetic paper. n Because of having projections of finely milledncalcium carbonate particles with a hydrophilic surface aroundnwhich a number of fine cracks are formed, the synthetic papernshows improved moisture absorptivity for water color inks andnaqueous adhesives, quick drying properties and excellentnprintability. |
