titleOfInvention | Method for switching calls to moved subscribers which preserve their subscriber number |
abstract | When calling for the first time to a subscriber who has changed to another switching center (VST # 48), in particular another operator, while maintaining his call number (089/4712), the switching center (VST # 16) of the calling subscriber (089/1601) from a connection established to a suitable database, the data of the new connection location is determined and stored. Subsequent calls to the same subscriber are processed using the stored connection data. This avoids that operators are not burdened with search procedures for subscribers who no longer belong to their catchment area, provided that the call does not come from their catchment area. |
