A dental resin composition is presented, comprising an ethoxylated bisphenol Andimethacrylate having the formulan CH 2 =C(CH 3 )CO 2 (C 2 H 4 O) x C 6 H 4 C(CH 3 ) 2 C 6 H 4 (OC 2 H 4 ) y O 2 CC(CH 3 )=CH 2 nwherein x + y is an integer from 1 to 20, and preferably from 2 to 7, together with anmethacrylate oligomer and an optional diluent monomer. The composition is suitablenfor use for dental fillers adhesives, and the like, and has improved water sorption andnexcellent wear resistance. |
