abstract | The roller shutter (1) comprises a slatted panel (3) rolled onto at least one drum (6) which rotates about a fixed shaft (7) and is connected to the shaft by a compensating spring (14) and has an anti-drop mechanism to stop the shutter from falling down in the event of compensating spring failure. The anti-drop mechanism comprises a mobile locking member (20) on the drum which engages with a static member (30) on the fixed shaft under the effect of a spring (40) in the event of compensating spring failure. During normal operation the compensating spring holds the locking member away from the static member. |
