A method of controlling the growth of weeds at a locusnwhich comprises applying to said locus a herbicidallyneffective amount of:n (a) a 4-benzoylisoxazole of formula I:n n whereinn R is hydrogen or -CO 2 R 3 , where R 3 is as defined below; R 1 is cyclopropyl; R 2 is selected from halogen, -S(O) p Me and C 1-6 alkyl ornhaloalkyl, n is two or three; p is zero, one or two; and R 3 is C 1-6 alkyl; (b) a chloroacetamide herbicide; and (c) a safening agent. |
