abstract |
An improved aqueous composition for the permanent hydrophilization of polyolefin fibers and filaments and nonwovens produced therefrom is proposed, the 15-75 parts by weight of at least one nonionic surfactant and 25-85 parts by weight of a component consisting of at least one quaternary ammonium compound and / or at least one cationically modified polydimethylsiloxane, and additionally may optionally contain at least one cohesive, lubricant, anti-corrosion agent and / or an emulsifier. The fibers equipped with it show good permanent hydrophilicity with improved cohesion and improved antistatic properties, which enables higher production and processing speeds. |
