abstract | Pharmacological association of N-acetylcysteine and levulose for the prevention of cell death and related diseases. The simultaneous application of the above compounds results in a clear synergetic effect in protecting cells, preventing cellular death caused by different kinds of aggressions related to oxidative stress. The preferred ratio of the two compounds in the association is levulose/NAC = 4/1. The pharmacological association is used for the treatment of various diseases, such as: rhinopharyngitis, bronchitis, acute and chronic hepatopathies, immunodeficiencies, myocardial infarction, arteriosclerosis, Alzheimer disease, retinitis, sexual impotence, nephritis, dermatitis and tumoral cachexia. |
