Enzymes and microorganisms having amidase activity for hydrolysing polyamides |
abstract |
An enzyme having amidase activity, in particular for substrates such as oligomers derived from PA 6.6 (Formula I) and/or PA 6 (Formula II), and characterised in that it has a ratio Ra = enzymatic activity for (poly)amide substrates of formula (I) enzymatic activity for (poly)amide substrates of formula (II) = A.E.(I) A.E.(II) that is greater than 2, preferably of at least 10 and more preferably of at least 50, is disclosed. Specifically, said enzyme consists of a peptide sequence corresponding to SEQ ID NO 2 disclosed in the description. DNA coding for the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO 2 and having a sequence corresponding to SEQ ID NO 1 disclosed in the description is also disclosed. Furthermore, microorganisms for producing said enzyme and a hydrolysis method using said enzyme and/or said microorganisms are disclosed. |
