abstract |
A novel composition comprising a hapten modified tumor cell extract prepared from cancer cells, or cancer cell membranes or peptides obtained therefrom is disclosed. Also disclosed are methods of treating cancer comprising administering therapeutically effective amounts of cyclophosphamide and hapten modified tumor cell extracts, with or without adjuvants and cytokines. Also disclosed is a method of screening for cytokine production by tumors in order to determine the efficacy of treatment, wherein cytokin-specific nucleic acids from a patient tissue sample are amplified in order to produce a detectable signal. |
